Mercedes-Benz Canada is celebrating the opening of the Mercedes-Benz Richmond Training Academy—a new technical training hub designed to support dealership teams across Western Canada. Located in Richmond, British Columbia, the 5,120-square-foot facility will serve as a centralized training site for Mercedes-Benz staff from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

"Using world-class training resources, we're equipping our technicians and retail staff with the knowledge and expertise they need to stay at the forefront of Mercedes-Benz innovation and technology—and to deliver consistently exceptional service to our customers."
The new facility features two classrooms, and a fully equipped workshop designed for hands-on technical training. The workshop includes all necessary tools and specialized equipment, along with three vehicle work bays, two of which are outfitted with hoists. One full-time Technical Trainer will lead technician trainings at the Mercedes-Benz Richmond Training Academy, supported by visiting facilitators who will deliver specialized sessions as needed.
For the past four years, Mercedes-Benz had been renting training space at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. The new Mercedes-Benz Richmond Training Academy marks a significant step forward, increasing training capacity while providing a dedicated, more accessible, and convenient training environment for Mercedes-Benz dealership teams across Western Canada.
