• Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX): A completely new multimedia system featuring innovative technology, and an intuitive operating system. MBUX technology is pioneering a new level of in-car experience. MBUX can be operated by Voice Control, the Touchscreen, Touchpad and Touch Control Buttons on the steering wheel. The system has Voice Control with natural language understanding and a verbal cue of "Hey Mercedes".
• AUGMENTED REALITY: To assist guidance in complex traffic situations, MBUX connects augmented reality for navigation with the real world. The technology incorporates graphical navigation instructions and traffic information into live images. A camera in the windshield films the area in front of the vehicle. This recording runs in the media display. Highlighted, superimposed information such as house numbers and street names facilitate orientation to the destination.
• DYNAMIC SELECT: offers different drive programs with setting options for the engine, transmission and steering. DYNAMIC SELECT rocker switch in the center console allows selection of four different drive programs: ECO, Comfort, Sport and Individual
• BLIND SPOT ASSIST Now new with rear cross traffic alert, (RCTA) recognizes vehicles in the blind spot using two short-range radar sensors located in the rear bumper. While the car is stopped, Blind Spot Assist continues to function for three minutes: if the assistant establishes that there are bicycles or pedestrians in the danger zone it issues visual and acoustic warnings.
• ENHANCED ACTIVE BRAKE ASSIST: Active Brake Assist can help prevent serious accidents due to insufficient distance or inattentiveness. The system issues a visual and acoustic warning of an impending collision. If the driver does not react at all, Active Brake Assist will attempt to diffuse as much energy as possible with an autonomous brake application. The system can also autonomously brake up to a speed of approx. 60 km/h for stationary vehicles and crossing pedestrians. Depending on the situation, Active Brake Assist can prevent collisions up to a speed of 50 km/h.
• AMBIENT LIGHTING: With ambient lighting you can showcase the interior according to your personal preferences or current mood. The 64 colours of the ambient lighting create exciting colour schemes, which can alternate dynamically. Illuminated air vents or gaps in the head restraints of the sports seats add a further experience factor.
