For the Hardcore Renos™ team, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is the ultimate toolbox

TORONTO, ON – It took 84 weeks of grueling work for the Hardcore RenosTM  team to wrap up one of the most challenging projects they have ever undertaken. While this  time frame may seem unusually long in the residential building industry, the "Build a Home" project went far beyond a typical renovation project, as the Hardcore RenosTM  team tore down an older property and rebuilt a spectacular brand new home from the ground up. The construction of this magnificent and fully-customized family home concluded with fanfare yesterday with the final public reveal in North York, Ontario.

In parallel, Mercedes-Benz Canada also embarked on this sensational journey from the very beginning of the project by providing the Hardcore RenosTM  team with the  use of two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo Vans. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has established itself as the benchmark in the industry delivering on performance and versatility, making it the natural choice for the Hardcore RenosTM  team who strongly believe in working with products of integrity. When the Mercedes-Benz Vans division first met the Hardcore RenosTM  principals, they felt their pragmatic outlook on  tackling all facets of this home's rebirth with care, innovation, and an unwavering dedication to quality was well aligned with the impressive capabilities and unique characteristics that define the Sprinter. Known for its generous interior height and cargo space, fuel economy, safety, and low total cost of ownership, the Sprinter nameplate was sought out by the Hardcore RenosTM  team to ensure they would be well-equipped to face all stages of the challenging build ahead of  them.

The Sprinter's overall versatility was tried and tested throughout the duration of the project. The Sprinter was used to transport all the necessary tools and equipment starting from the demolition phase and rebuilding of the foundations to the framing, complete electrical and plumbing work as well as finishing and even decorating. It hauled all the foundational tools required, along with full sheets of drywall, slabs of cement, lengthy strips of plywood, countless gallons of paint, as well as anything and everything that was possibly needed to bring this brand new infill house to life.

Hardcore RenosTM  is an online renovation show like no other as it combines traditional builders' legacies, precision craftsmanship, creative flair and comedic antics. It also solely utilized and interacted intimately with numerous social media platforms to share and broadcast the on-going successes and challenges, day-to-day experiences as well as trials and tribulations throughout the full length of the project.

"We call our Sprinters 'the ultimate toolboxes' for a good reason: We have quite literally put everything to do with this build in these vans," said Manny Neves, General Contractor, Producer and Director of Hardcore RenosTM . "From start to finish, our two Sprinters have done a lot of heavy-lifting. These vans let us be prepared for anything at a moment's notice".

"We are pleased to have contributed to making this vision a reality," said Pablo de la Peña, Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Vans. "Our involvement in this challenging project that pushed the limits of building and design further underscored the Sprinter's unmatched versatility and capabilities. It also allowed us to tangibly showcase in countless ways how the Sprinter Cargo Van can be uniquely tailored to any and all business requirements".
