Canadians will need to (re)act fast to win a Mercedes-AMG Hot Lap around the official Grand Prix track in Montreal

  • Mercedes-Benz Canada launches the Pro Reaction Challenge, where the Canadian with the fastest reflexes will win an exclusive experience from Mercedes-Benz Canada including a Mercedes-AMG Hot Lap around the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

Mercedes-Benz Canada is pleased to return as the official automotive sponsor of the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada in Montreal, Quebec. Through a new online game and contest: the Pro Reaction Challenge, Mercedes-Benz Canada is giving Canadians a chance to experience motorsport action from a new and exciting perspective. Inspired by drills used by racing pros to help with hand-eye coordination, reflexes and stamina, the game challenges Canadians to react as quickly as possible to buttons that light up on their phones or mobile devices. The Canadian with the highest score in the online challenge will win an exclusive experience from Mercedes-Benz, including a Mercedes-AMG Hot Lap on June 6th around the official track, the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

Canadians have until midnight on May 28 to visit www.proreactionchallenge.ca and complete the 30-second challenge on their smartphone or tablet. Participants only have one chance to set their official score for the contest, but the game includes a warm-up mode that players can use to practice as many times as they would like before playing for the big prize.

The winner of the Pro Reaction Challenge will win:

  • A Mercedes-AMG Hot Lap around the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve with a professional driver on June 6th
  • Access to a special event on June 6th at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve to watch Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport driver Valtteri Bottas complete a live reaction challenge
  • Round-trip airfare to Montreal from any major Canadian airport, and two nights’ hotel accommodation in Montreal (June 5th and 6th)

Full contest rules and regulations are available on the contest site: www.proreactionchallenge.ca
