Introducing Meet Mercedes DIGITAL content series

On May 25th, 2020, Mercedes-Benz will launch an innovative news format on its Mercedes me media digital platform to provide media representatives with comprehensive information about the latest technological innovations, new products and corporate developments, even in times of social distancing. The Meet Mercedes DIGITAL series will be similar to a news broadcast – presenting a current topic at regular intervals, shedding light on background information and letting experts have their say. The moderated programmes offer talks in the studio and reports from production plants or test tracks. In addition, in-depth information on each topic will be made available for download in the form of videos, graphics, press releases and images. There will also be the opportunity for dialogue with Mercedes-Benz experts on selected topics. The various episodes of Meet Mercedes DIGITAL and all accompanying content will be published in a media special at media.mercedes-benz.com/meetmercedesdigital. In order not to miss an episode, media representatives can already register for push notifications starting now.

"Special times call for special approaches – that's why we’ve developed Meet Mercedes DIGITAL, an innovative news format to provide media representatives with comprehensive and detailed information about news relating to our brand and our products," says Katja Bott, Head of Global Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans. "Such a format can certainly not replace personal exchange. However, in times of international travel restrictions and the absence of live events, we try to exploit all technical functionalities of our already established and proven Mercedes me media digital platform. This enables us to prepare and offer information that we would otherwise share in discussions with media representatives at our events in a dedicated and varied way."
